Join us for a FREE workshop on how to grow your own garlic, taught by Ag Educator and garlic grower extraordinaire, Caroline Boutard Hunt, of Cornell Cooperative Extension. Attendees will learn everything they need to know to plant and care for garlic from fall to next summer’s harvest. You can even take home some Sweet Farm garlic to plant now for your own crop next summer! PLEASE REGISTER TO ATTEND SO WE HAVE ENOUGH FOR EVERYONE!

Treats or Tricks!

Come join us for a family-friendly day on the farm the Sunday before Halloween! Show off your best costumes to our rescued farm animals while you reverse trick-or-treat at their stall doors and pasture gates. Show them how much you love them by giving them (fresh veggie) treats, and feel how nice it is to give instead of receive! Veggies for the animals will be provided at the event (or feel free to bring apples or carrots!), and there will be Halloween goodies to take home! Adults are free - each child over the age of 1 needs a ticket!

Pumpkin Party

Join us for a celebration of gratitude and giving back! Bring your intact leftover pumpkins to share with our rescued animals and feel how good it feels to give back. Animals give us so much and ask so little. They are endlessly forgiving and loving, even when we they have endured hardship and betrayal at the hands of humans. This event is our way of saying thank you to the amazing animals who bring joy to our lives and the community. Come spend an afternoon on the farm and help us show our 140+ rescued animals how special they are. We invite you to bring intact pumpkins (no gourds, please - they aren’t edible!) to share with our residents and thank them for all the unconditional love that animals like them give us every day of their short lives. Whether you’re a long-time supporter or just curious to learn more about Sweet Farm, we’d love to see you there. Let’s come together to honor and celebrate the resilient spirits of our furry, feathered, and four-legged friends!
