What you need
- 1 lb green beans
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon rice vinegar
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 teaspoon fresh ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- optional garnish sesame seeds
- optional garnish red chili flakes
How to make it
- Wash the green beans under running water and let them drain in a colander. Once they are completely drained, use a kitchen towel to dry them. Gently pat them dry. Then, trim the rough ends of the beans on both sides.
- In a large bowl, add all the seasoning ingredients (sesame oil, soy sauce, rice vinegar, minced garlic, ginger, salt, and pepper) and mix well.
- Add the green beans. Toss them well, so they are all coated with the seasoning.
- Transfer the seasoned green beans to the air fryer basket. Shake basket to spread the green beans in a single layer.
- Set the air fryer to 380°F. Air fry for 6-8 minutes for the perfect texture. Shake the basket halfway through. (Preheating is not required. The cooking time includes preheating time.)
- When the cooking time is done, carefully remove the beans from the basket and serve immediately. Optionally, sprinkle some sesame seeds and red chili flakes on top before serving.
